INTERACTIVE NETWORK AND QB1: ENTERTAINMENT
Interactive Network marketed a service that allowed people at home or in restaurants to participate and compete for prizes along with the contestants on game shows such as Jeopardy. The home "contestants" entered their answers to game show questions on special remote receivers. At the end of the show, home participants downloaded their answers to see how they ranked against other home contestants.
QB1 offered a similar service that allowed sports fans to participate in interactive games linked to a live football broadcast.
